Annual June Home Project

"Each year we select a home, of one of our qualifying poverty level elderly, with the most need, and we renovate and paint the exterior of their home completely free. This is a huge help for them, as they cannot afford to have it done themselves. It not only allows them to be proud of their home, but it beautifies the neighborhood too.

We thank you in advance for your support & help!"

Sara’s House

Rose and I would like to express our sincerest gratitude for each of you that contributed and made our annual Home Project a success. We could not have done it without YOU! This year we chose Sara’s house to paint. It was built in 1924, 98 years ago, and it had not been painted since it was purchased by her, 45 years ago. Sara dreamed of having her house painted, especially as many homes in her neighborhood are being improved, but she could not afford to have that done.

What she couldn’t do for herself, you helped make possible. Many of you donated funds to help purchase the thousands of dollars of materials and supplies needed to complete the project. Every amount mattered and counted. Many more of you, individuals, teams and organizations, gave selflessly of your time and energy, especially in the record heat we had. We know that it wasn’t just your hands that did the work, you put your heart into it.

You helped improve Sara’s quality of life, while making her dream a reality by transforming her home into a beautiful one that she could be so proud of for as long as she lives. Although she will never be able to repay you, we pray that God will richly bless you for your sacrificial giving of your treasure and time.

Sincerely,

Robert Reyes
