Rose and I married in 1980 and have two children, Robert Eric and Felicia Ginae. Both our children and our son-in-law are teachers, in which we are very proud of them. We have two grandchildren, Roy Anakin and Victoria Rose, who bring great joy and energy into our lives. My family and I enjoy traveling, camping, and playing Crazy Mexican Train (Dominos). Our family time is important, and we intentionally make time to spend it with each other.

Fun Fact: Rose and I are foodies! We love eating all types of foods, especially Korean food.

I have had various jobs that have prepared me to do the work I do at King’s Compassion. For instance, I worked with Blood-n-Fire Ministries from 1999 to 2011, in which we served people of all ages who were in poverty. After my second trip from Africa, I knew my season at Blood-n-Fire Ministries was ending, and God wanted me to step out into something new. My heart was drawn to the elderly, and little did I know that God was leading me to begin King’s Compassion. I never thought all that I would learn would position me to be able to serve with confidence and perseverance in what I do today. As I reflect on all we have done, I cherish the friendships we have made, from the elderly to the volunteers. I am humbled and honored to be God’s hands and feet. The motto that I live by has been β€œAnswering the Highest Call to Serve!”

We would love for YOU to be a part

of King's Compassion!
