There is no way that we could possibly do all that we do without volunteers willing to give of their precious time and abilities for our elderly. We love that volunteers of all ages can help us because of the variety of opportunities that we offer, from making calls to mowing lawns to painting a house.We welcome individuals, families, groups, and businesses to take part in making a positive impact in the life of someone that will not be able to repay you, but the sense of satisfaction and reward that come from serving selflessly are payment in themselves. We are so deeply grateful for ALL of our volunteers!

When Francisco found out that his usual volunteer family was not going to be delivering groceries on Saturday to him, he was sad as he mentioned how much he and his wife enjoy seeing the children. But the volunteer family was also sad that they didn’t get to see Francisco and his wife Rosa that day. Our elderly look forward to seeing familiar faces, especially when a relationship is built.

  • Setup For Food Delivery

    Time: 9:00am-1:00pm

    Day: During the Week before the 1st Saturday of the Month (Call to Get Connected - 210-201-2402)

  • Packing for Food Delivery

    Time: 9:00am-11:00am

    Day: 1st Saturday of the Month

    # of Times: Once a Month

  • Monthly Food Delivery

    Pick-Up Time: Based on Chosen Time Slot 9:30am-11:00am

    End Time: Varies from 12:00pm-1:00pm

    Day: 1st Saturday of the Month

  • MONTHLY CHEESE/FOOD BOX

    Pick-Up Time: 9:00am

    We will sort, organize, & inventory donated items.

  • Essential For Seniors*

    Day: Varies

    We will sort, organize, & inventory donated items.

  • June Home Project*

    Time: Daytime

    Weekdays: Tuesday - Friday

    Weekends: Saturday Only

    We will scrap, sand, replace wooden siding, paint, etc.

    *More Info 60-90 days prior to June Home Project Event.

  • Administrative Support*

    Computer/Tech support, calling our KC Seniors, Data Entry, Spreadsheets, etc.

  • Holiday Visits & Celebrations*

    Time: Varies between 9am-12pm

    Day: Varies (day before or day of holiday)

    We will need drivers to deliver cards and gifts. We celebrate Birthdays, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving (To-Go Dinner), Christmas, etc.
