I have been blessed to live in this amazing city with my husband, Don, for the past 16 years. I am retired after a remarkable 32-year career from Nationwide Insurance. My passion is giving back to the community which I call home. As such, I have taken the opportunity to serve in various organizations, which include Impact San Antonio, Our Lady of Guadalupe of Helotes, and a board member of The Children's Shelter. I am a graduate of the Masters' Leadership Program and an active member of the MLP alum association.

I am honored to include the Chair of the Board of Directors of King's Compassion. King's Compassion seeks to serve one of the most vulnerable populations, the elderly poor. My eyes were opened to the immense needs of this hidden population who live in isolation, with food insecurity and fear of what tomorrow may bring. I am energized and humbled by our mission to serve them with dignity and respect while providing for their physical and spiritual needs. I feel a personal obligation to give back and share my time, talents, and treasure with my community.
